Revelation issues.

As some of you may remember my forks in France were sitting low in their travel and didn't seem to want to go to the full 140mm.

I replaced the o rings in the air chambers 2 weeks ago as I had determined that the air was leaking into the neg chamber from the pos.

Anywho went for a ride the other day and about 20km in a noticed the fork was back to its old tricks of sitting low, so this morning took the fork apart, and this is what I found!!



It seems that during the time in the Alps some dirt in the left leg got stuck in the chamber between the stanchion and the positive piston, thus shredding the inside of the stanchion to shit!!

So found a spare set online, only issue is my stanchions are 300mm and the one he's selling are 280. Will this make much of a difference or will I lose travel etc!?

getting the new set will reduce the travel by 20mm, My local mechanic told this when I asked him as I was curious.

Yeah guessed as much! Think ill just get a new fork and sell the old bits as spares as everything else works perfectly!
