Traffic Restrictions on UL Campus Sunday 29/10/2017

Notice sent out by Buildings and Estates today:

The Women’s Mini Marathon is taking place on Campus and on Plassey road this coming Sunday 29th October, the following restrictions will be in place for this event:

* East Gate entrance closed from 11.00am to 2.00pm approx.
* Car Parks,P2, P3,P4,P5,P7,P8 will be closed from 11.00am to 2.00pm approx.
* There will be NO vehicle access to Kilmurry Village via the Campus from 11.00am to 2.00pm approx.
* The main campus road from the Roundabout to East gate will be closed from 11.00am to 2:00pm approx.
* All on Campus roads & Car Parks will reopen at 2:00pm approx.

NOTE: There will be no bus service to the Stable Bus stop on Sunday between the hours 11.00am to 2.30pm approx due to this event. Bus service will be available at the Bus stop on Main Avenue near campus main avenue roundabout.

Participants will be running on sections of the campus roads / public road during the event. Marshals will be on duty along the course route and we would ask drivers to adhere to the marshal’s directions /instructions.
