The Trek 4900 is a decent spec bike, except maybe the fork. As for the club, it is open to non-students and some of us are long past our student days. Have you been out to the Ballyhoura trail centre? If you can manage the brown loop OK you should be able for a club spin.
Say... That's a nice bike...

Daytime on weekdays is going to be pretty quiet. The thing to remember is that since the trails are one way, once you stay moving you won't see anyone apart from people going a lot faster or slower than you. Provided you leave people past if they come barreling up behind you you're not going to cause anyone trouble at all. Everyone was a beginner at some point, so it's not really cause to be intimidated. Sounds like you're well able to cover ground on a bike too, so you should be grand for the club spins.

Hello, my name is Gonzalo, I'm from the south of Spain but I'm moving to Limerick next Monday, I'll do my last year of career on the UL with an Erasmus. I've already "apply" to the club online through the website ulwolves.ie, the status of my petition is pending, of course, 'cause I need to pay. My question is how do I pay?

Well, talking about myself, I'm 22 years old, I've been riding in bikes (especially road bikes) since I was 15, I was in a team a few years ago and I love cycling, of course. I'm really excited about the option of "discover" some Irish landscapes through a bike, although I really prefer road bikes instead of mountain bikes, hehehe.

Well, sorry for my english if I've failed at something with the spelling and hope to see you soon
