Jerseys!!!!

Postby alan93 » 15 Feb 2014, 00:22

So we need whoever wants a jersey to come along and try on some of the sample ones.

We'll have them at the spin on Sunday and at pizza on Monday night. So try make one of those times if you want a jersey so you can figure out the sizing.

See you then!! :D

Edit:

The link to the spreadsheet where you fill in your name and size if you want a jersey is this:

I don't think they make 2 dimensional jerseys anyway

We're getting them from the same crowd that did the foxhunt jerseys Joe so they'll be the same size as the ones then.
If you build it they will come.

Cheers Tom. Reckon I'll go for a medium so. It'll look like it's on a wire hanger but should be long enough

Is there a design that I can look at?
So a man walks into a bar, and orders 10 times as many drinks as everyone else.

The barman says to him, 'Now that...is an order of magnitude.'

When will you be ordering them? Seems pretty incredible to be getting sizes finalized with no actual design available. Any description at all you could give?

Whoa, hold up a minute. We're currently discussing the design with them and won't be ordering until we're happy with a design. It is, however, useful for people to know what size they are seeing as we know what type of jersey we're getting (Long sleeve DH) so that when we do have the design, we can go ahead and order fairly quickly. For reference, I've asked them to adapt the below designs for our logos and the wolves colours. we'll see how they come out and take it from there

Change the slogan on the second option to "World's Fattest Racers" and we may have a winner.

Fox style is definitely where it's at.
The TLD one is in no-mans land. It's not loud enough to be properly mad and it's just loud enough for you to look like a twat.

Now a few of us have an idea of what size of jersey we need. So could you put it onto the doc here so we know what kind of numbers we need in each size.

So the first proper round of designs have arrived. Take a look and give your opinion, remember these aren't finalised yet.

Design 3 is my favourite one so far. :D

I've also renamed the topic and added the above link to the first post for easy access.

If they can, then I would like to say that I think the MBUL looks a little childish....after considering why I think it reminds me of this a lot

Image

I have no suggestions as of yet of how to change it. I also would say for arguments sake, going with number three, the MBUL might look good in one, standout colour, white for instance.

There was something a bit off about it. Reckon Ciaran is right. Having it in just one colour might look better

Design 2 looks better to my eyes than Design 1. Not sure which colour scheme appeals most, E I think. Not that I've got too much say in this since I can't afford one in this batch, but I guess if we have the artwork done a second batch down the line is always a possibility :)

I like No. 3 as well, I initially agreed with ciaran that the MBUL would look good in white against those colours, - see the UL on the wolf logo for reference. I'm not so sure though. can anyone do a mock up of the logo with the colour inverted? (i.e white bike, white text, black surround, that's the only way it'll work in that way. the wolf logo on the back of the jersey could be bigger I think?

6th is most definitely my favourite! The ones that are all red black and blue blend together too much, nothing stands out.

Just what I was about to say, I think the extra contrast against a white background is needed.

I quite like the little bit of red colour gradient of design 1. If the markings across design 1 could be made a bit more aggressive looking that'd be the winner for me. :D

I'm presuming we'll discuss the various thoughts put forward on this thread on Monday?
