Re: Let's talk forks...(And no Neil, not the eating kind )
For a 3 year, no service stipulation warranty, and a history of making forks that won't cost them anything even offering that warranty, Marzocchi are in another league in value for money terms. I'd have had to think long and hard between the Marzocchi and the X-Fusion for the Pipedream if Marzocchi made any 26" forks with bolt through axles and 120 mm travel...

Just saw a 160mm fox 34 for sale on buy and sell mtb on facebook for €425. Looks very nice.
If you build it they will come.

I've already been talking to that guy
I'm trying to decide whether it's worth going to Dublin, borrowing my Dads car, driving to Rosstrevor (He's heading to the DH race) just to look at it to decide or go with something like the aforementioned Marzocchi
The 40-50 euro in buses and diesel to get there and back does render it more expensive than the Marzocchi, assuming the worst case scenario of him not wanting to move on the price.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/2014-NIB-MARZOCCHI-55-R-STRAIGHT-1-1-8TH-ENDURO-FORK-160MM-/271405038191
Even with the charge for postage this is coming in at 390euro, so way cheaper than CRC or even the 2nd Fox....

You will more than likely get caught for customs on this, so add 23% on to the price. If it still looks good then you're sorted though...
Or you could get this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Girvin- ... 1405038191 - no silly disk mounts, bolt through hubs or suspension bushings to deal with here

Probably less than the Marzocchi, but it'll be nothing like as strong. Here's one being jumped from around 6:40 on the greatest MTB video ever made (In 1995)...

6:03 has to be one of the finest recoveries I've ever seen.
