It could do with a bit of sweeping and filling, there are quite a few decent sized loose stones on it now, so holding speed and cornering hard is a little dodgier, but it was running pretty well a couple of weeks ago when I was last on it. There were also fresh tyre tracks leading in, so I'm not the only one still using it either.

Yeah myself and zak were on it last week, it's not the worst but it's not great either.

Could do a dig day to get it going properly and reshape some of the bumps.some of them are flat and no speed off them.

I will get the strimmer down if you want to get it tidied up.

The reason it was left get that way is that they were supposed to knock it 6 months ago for the new driving range.. and we're waiting to be allocated space for the new one..

I've been in with Paul Lee, and the pump track is on the agenda for Tuesday's council meeting. Paul wants to get it on the minutes that we are agitating for the progression of the replacement, as it appears that mid-March may be when the driving range build restarts, and we've gotten nothing back on the promised replacement. Paul has a meeting with arena board Tuesday afternoon and he'll be raising it at that, and needs the extract from the council minutes to show we want it.
If possible, if anyone is on the pump track, please take some pics so we can show we are still using the current one.

I don't think it would Sean, I had a couple of meetings with him about it over the last year and he didn't see any reason as to why we should clean it up again as it could be knocked any day is what I was told..

Hopefully we'll be able to get timescales for the driving range development plan, so it'll be possible to see if it's worth working on the current track

The pics are to show that the current one is in use regularly, so that a new one would be worth the investment and would be used.

Right plan so is to go down with a brush and something to cut the long grass back.

Who can make it for around 1?

I'll see what the weather's at and decide when to fit this in around long spins nearer the day. There's a lot more than just the pump track for your €5 - a little bit of pedaling makes the whole bike park available for that price. The climb to the top is done well too.

I wouldn't have much interest in anything other than the pump track for training at the minute
